    Using UNBISnet-Search, access the library's catalog as well as specialized indexes for voting records and speeches from the General Assembly and the Security Council.
  • UN Documents
    Search for documents by issuing body e.g. under General Assembly, find resolutions from 1981 forward.

    This database provides indexing of and access to: United Nations Treaty Series (over 40,000 bilateral and multilateral treaties and subsequent actions in their authentic language(s), along with a translation into English and French, as appropriate), Status of Multilateral Treaties Deposited with the Secretary-General, and texts of recently deposited multilateral treaties deposited with the Secretary-General that have not yet been published in the UNTS.

Political Database of the Americas
This joint project between Georgetown University and other organizations has documentary and statistical political information on Latin America, including constitutions, electoral laws, legislative and executive branch information and election data.

The Rise of Modern Constitutionalism, 1776-1849
An international research project with a goal to make available all constitutions from Europe and the Americas that were part of the rising tide of modern constitutionalism from 1776 through 1849.

Country Commercial Guides
A comprehensive look at countries' commercial environments, using economic, political and market analysis prepared annually (primarily) by U.S. embassies. Available online for 1996-2001.

Country Reports on Economic Policy and Trade Practices
Detailed reports on the economic policy and trade practices of countries which are significant economic or trading partners with the U.S. In Fall 2002 Congress discontinued the reports. A searchable archives is available for 1993-2001.

Country Reports on Human Rights Practices
Report to U. S. Congress of countries' status concerning internationally recognized individual, civil, political, and worker rights.

Country Studies/Area Handbooks
This series deals with particular foreign countries, describing and analyzing their political, economic, social, and national security systems and institutions, and examining the interrelationships of those systems and the ways they are shaped by cultural factors.

U.S. Overseas Loans and Grants (Greenbook)
Provides an historical record of U.S. aid to other countries in the world in either historical or constant dollars. Uses standard or customized tables to report all loans and grants authorized by the U.S. Government for each fiscal year. Includes U.S. Foreign Assistance Reference Guide on its "About" page.

World Factbook
From the Central Intelligence Agency, this site provides country information organized by country, region, or topic. Topics include communications, defense, economy, flag and map, geography, government, people and transportation.

Bureau of Economic Analysis International Economic Accounts Data

Current and historical International investment information from the U.S. government in tabular format.

European Communities' Statistical Office
This office uses uniform rules to collect all statistical data from the National Statistical Institutes of each of the 15 Member States of the European Union. It then consolidates and harmonizes the information, making it available to be used either globally or comparatively.

Euro Trade
Eurotrade contains import and export data for each of the fifteen major European countries and over 12,000 commodities up to the 8-digit European Harmonized System Classification level.

Global Statistics (United Nations)
Statistics from the UN, its various divisions, programmes, related organizations, and co-operating inter-governmental organizations.

Handbook of International Economic Statistics
Map, chart and table presentations of international economic statistics.

International Economic Database (IES)
Links to over 700 official economic data publications of foreign national governments. Includes prices and price indexes, monetary reports, employment and GDP.

National Statistics by Country

OECD Statistics
Comprehensive statistics site from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Statistics Canada
