FEDSTATS interagency statistical information -- Subject, agency, and program access to statistics from more than 70 federal agencies.
FRASER (Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research) -- Contains links to scanned images (PDF format) of historic/economic statistical publications, releases, and documents including the annual Economic Report of the President. Coverage starts with the 19th and early 20th century for some economic and banking reports. Includes a link to Allan Meltzer’s A History of the Federal Reserve Volume 1: 1913-1951.
FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data)
Contains over 13,000 U.S. economic times series organized into 13 categories some of which include "vintage" data. Also includes regional and county-level data. Download data in Microsoft Excel and text formats. View charts of data series.
GeoFRED
Federal Reserve data-mapping tool that displays color-coded unemployment, labor force and population data on the state, MSA, and county levels. Select among 12,000 data series with the ability to customize printable maps according to size, scope, and detail.
Historical Statistics of the United States -- Topics ranging from migration and health to crime and the Confederate States of America are each placed in historical context by a recognized expert in the field. The fully searchable and downloadable electronic edition will permit users to graph individual tables and create customized tables and spreadsheets reflecting their own particular areas of interest.

Corresponds to the print indexes American Statistics Index, Index to International Statistics, and Statistical Reference Index. Accessible to the Rice community or at the Library only.
Monthly Labor Review Online -- This online publication supplements, but does not exactly duplicate, the print publication. Issued in pdf format with indexing back to 1989.
NAEP, the National Assessment of Educational Progress: the Nation's Report Card -- National Center for Education Statistics site that also includes special reports for targeted populations.

Social Statistics Briefing Room -- Current Federal social statistics from the White House, including crime, demography, education, and health.
STAT-USA -- U.S. Department of Commerce collection of business, economic, and trade databases that includes information from over 40 government agencies. Archived economic information including America's Top 50 Releases is available through its State of the Nation Archive. Also includes U.S. travel and tourism (arrivals/departures) statistics, primary market transactions, and a monthly U.S. Treasury yield chart based on CMT (Constant Maturity Treasury) rates. State of Preschool (year): State Preschool Yearbook -- From the National Institute of Early Education Research sponsored by the Pew Charitable Trusts and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Annual downloadable statistics from all but the 12 states that do not have state preschool programs.
Statistical Abstract of the United States -- Known as "the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States." Includes data from the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Bureau of Economic Analysis, and other Federal agencies and private organizations. Includes State Abstracts.

Bureau of Economic Analysis International Accounts Data -- International investment information from the U.S. government in tabular format; generally covers information from 1994 forward.
European Communities' Statistical Office --This office uses uniform rules to collect all statistical data from the National Statistical Institutes of each of the 15 Member States of the European Union. It then consolidates and harmonizes the information, making it available to be used either globally or comparatively.

Statistics Canada -- Statistics Canada is a national statistical agency with programs organized by demographic and social, socio-economic, and economic areas. Provides access to statistical websites of other countries under "Links to Other Sites," then "Other Statistical Web Sites."
TradeStats Express (International Trade Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce) -- Includes both National Trade Data (U.S. merchandise exports, imports, trade balances) and State Export Data (state and regional exports of merchandise).
